CTSMEE – Cape Town Model & Experimental Engineers  Exhibition 10th/11th November.

I happened to be in Cape Town at the moment so went to the exhibition in Rondebosch – was full of people, engines, trains, and weird stuff.

Noel, I can’t tell you more – I don’t know! The owner was not there when I passed – His cell phone and ‘specs were but he was missing.

I will try find out some more.

The green Wolsley is interesting – Sparks every rotation but only injects fuel when the flywheel begins to slow – nice hit and miss pulse out of the exhaust on one’s hand- It was running a 3-piston water pump and would go hit, miss, hit, miss, hit, miss miss, hit…

The finned top is hollow and is atop the cylinder head – it is filled with water for cooling.
