Crank Oil Cups

Hi,

Can anyone recommend some 6ba oil cups please,seen a few but they all seem open topped which will let contanination in.

These are for the coupling rods on a 3.5Inch Steam Loco.

Can you not make a couple they are easy enough to do.

These ones would be about the right size for a 6BA thread although in this case they are  flange mounted

I'll sketch something tomorrow, whats the max diameter you can have the cup and do you want a plain cup like above or something more decorative like this

Plain cup is ok and max dia is 5/16

Here you go, if its not obvious the hole in the body is the tapping size for 7/32×40, and teh OD may need to be a fraction less than 1/4" , just enough to remove the hex. Click for a bigger image.

Finished them last week,blooming fiddley to make and scrapped 3 in the process but there great,Thanks
