Guys , I am the proud owner of a clarkson MK3 t&c grinder . It is in very good condition and I’de say I have 90% of the std tooling and accesoires that came with the machine .

I would very much like to build me the index attachment .

Does anyone have this index attachment ? I would like to see some decent pictures , and maybe a couple of basic dimension .

It’s not rocket science to fugure out how it’s supposed to work , but I would be nice if I can keep it as close as possible to the original

Clarkson Mk3 T&C grinders are not very common; I would be interested in seeing some more pics of it plus the tooling and accessories.

I know they are very rare indeed . It took me years to find a MK3 . I have had this one for 12 years now , found it on ebay . In 12 years that I have this one , I’ve seen only one other listing for a MK3 , and that was incomplete .

I have the dust extractor , the 3way vice , the drill point and tap grinding fixture , air bearing , controlled spiral movement and half a radius grinding fixture . I’ll make some pictures .

You may already know this but it looks like the Index attachment fits on the Universal head assembly? Pictures of the Universal head are on lathes.UK. cannot locate any specific to the index attachment.

Yes the index attachement fits the universal head . But I’ve never seen one one fitted to it . I send tony at lathes.co.uk an email asking if he had maybe pictures available of the index attachment , but apparantly a reply was to much to ask for .
