The Australian model traction engine rally was held last weekend at Menangle Park, a country area south of Sydney. Not as big a rally as some of those held in the UK but still a great weekend. Engine owners came from NSW, Victoria and Queensland, some travelling up to 1000 km to attend the rally.

A longer bit of film would have been better i could watch them for hours !!

First running of my 6" Ruston Proctor SD engine and photos of engines at the Australian Model rally.

My engine is not completely finished and there was a mad rush to have it running. The final steam test for the boiler was done on the weekend prior to the rally and I had a few late nights getting ready.
