Anyone with a Fobco 7 eight?

Hello

I have been asked to make some missing parts for a Fobco 7 eight drill press. One of which is the nut that retains the quill return spring cover (see picture). On a Fobco Star it is threaded 1/2″ x 20TPI WF, however, from rough measurement the OD of the thread, on the 7 eight, would indicate 5/8. The problem I have is I do not know the thread pitch. The drill is not with me so I am unable to measure it and the person whose drill it is is struggling to get an accurate enough measurement to determine the pitch.

If anyone has one of these drills I would much appreciate it if someone could determine the thread pitch and let me know.
