          Boxford most likely, the Atlas is the same nominal size, but uses unified thread form.

            thank you, yep I checked the angle so not unified

            so next question anyone have a spare backplate gathering rust?

              If you do indeed need a Boxford backplate, they are easy to get from ebay in different diameters for finish machining to fit a chuck. If you can post the exact dimensions, length of thread, overall length to shoulder and the length and diameter of the register, it could be verified by Boxford owners.

                cheers, it is on a dividing head (myford style) but for my use will probably use the 2 morse taper to hold an arbor
