      Hello All,

      I have just acquired an AUD which is not presently fitted with the default change wheels for screw cutting. Could anyone provide me with a list of what goes where, or better still a photo?

              know ow your lathe , book is based on Boxford. Isbn 0 85242 557 0

               

              if you search ebay etc you should find a copy.

                  On my AUD (Imperial) the standard set-up is:

                  Stud gear – 20T Idler gear – 80T Screw gear – 56 T

                  On a Metric AUD:

                  Stud gear – 20T Idler Gear – 80T Screw gear – 45T

                    I joined the Boxford Group, got a copy of "Know Your Lathe" on Amazon, and can now set up my AUD.
