And BTW, I saw a couple of c ooments posted by others suggesting Iss. 188 was late (or early, or anyway, not on time, I forget) but here in Switerland (where I know for a fact that "normal" post takes 5 to 7 days to arrive from UK) I got my Iss 188 about 10 days ago. So I'm well pleased.

Yeah I had this – a crease in the same place on the inner pages but not on the covers. Bizarre!

Oh dear, DC; you have made a rod for your own back! No reports of torn covers, but your enquiry has revealed another problem: crumpled innards.

I'm sure that if torn covers were widespread, WH Smith would have piped up.

My postal copy was pristine, inside and out.

So was mine, mind you as it was my first postal copy they probably took extra special care in the delivery.
