I’m about to start building my first flame licker engine. What fuel should I use, Meths, lighter fluid or A N Other ?

Hi Eric, welcome to the frustrating world of under powered, finger burning bits of metal.

My first one for a long time would not run on any thing less than the gass torch,then as it freed up it now works on meths, and thats what I would aim for. My second one is one designed by Jan Ridders, and sorry it does not go, mind you I’v not done anything to it for months. Ian S C
