Hi,
I would like to introduce myself!
I have been a reader for many years but finally decided to take the time to register. Not only for myself but also to potentially help anyone else out.
I have been involved in engineering for over 35 years, so I might be of help sometime.
My interests are mainly mechanical (but not limited to), as I have personally rewired and upgraded my own shop and a few machines over the years.
Old machines are my weakness. British and American made. I live by the "lets make it and see how much it costs later" term.
My last "home projects" was a complete refurb of my old Elliott No1 pillar drill. It is drilling better now than it probably ever has done due to a remote speed adjustment box.
Also a complete refurb of my 25 plus year old Sip mig welder. I can know weld to its full potential of 195 amps without the board tripping or the torch going nuclear in my hand!
