Just received notification from Paypal that $19.95 has been paid for HMEM member subscription, I was not aware it was a rolling membership so if there are any HMEM members here that don't wish to continue a subscription I would advise you to change or cancel your pre-approval with Group Builder, log in to your PayPal account, go to Profile and click 'My money'. Update your pre-approval in the 'My automatic payments' section.

While there you may want to cancel any other such payee payments you are not aware of.

It's not just HMEM. It seems to be becoming de rigueur for many subscription payments these days. If you dig deeply enough you should find that you agree to it somewhere buried in the fine print.

I make it a practice immediately after paying/renewing one of these to delete the recurring payment setup in Paypal.
