Hello,

I have decided that my next project will be to build the Upshur IC Model Pump Engine. My understanding is that I will require a 2:1 ratio gear set. I am not at a standard where I would be able to cut a set of gears for myself so can anyone point me in the direction where I could buy them?

Also, has anyone any hints or tips for this build?

He has just started a series on these engines .

It may help to know where you are in regards to recommending a supplier for the gears .

HPC International are the usual goto for spur gears, Moffett's is another source and if he specifies Boston Gear code numbers then GMB Associates do their geras in the UK.
