Hi, Can anyone help me please. Do you know of anyone over here in Jersey that makes steam engineering models, such as stationary steam engines and steam locomotives. I would really like to meet someone with the same interest.

Looks like Jersey has only one Model Engineer who uses the forum and he's Garry!

As the internet has failed miserably I'd ask the same question in the printed magazines. Letter to the editor or a free ad.

I don't recommend anything too jokey. 'Handsome ex-sailor possessing small personal fortune seeks like-minded Jersey mate for Model Engineering and more." Dodgy, might end in matrimony…

A quick look at the dreaded Facebook throws up a Jersey model tug association and a Jersey model railway club. The tug operators might include steam builders, and as the model railway club has a live steam SM32 layout it might be worth making contact?
