      I have the sad task disposing my dear friends unfinished projects we have for Torquay Manor complete drawings well used wheel castings/ cylinders/ 2 part completed chassis lots of other bits inc boiler looks well made but no papers my question is there any interest for his model? any help before i advertise the items i have no idear of value cylinders 1 pair gunmetal 1 c.i. thanks for any help

          There won't be papers for a copper boiler made by the owner; but if well-made that should not be a problem regarding testing. If your friend was in a model-engineering society it may be able to help by giving the boiler a preliminary hydraulic test, and with finding the entire project a new home.

            I would very much reiterate Nigels comments that a local club may be able to help. If the boiler has been built to the drawings you have then that will simplify testing. Good Luck, Noel
