The two different trunk thingies bore sizes are interesting ? Does this follow full size practice ?

            Thanks

Compound with steam being re-used – aka triple expansion engine. Obviously not a triple expansion in this case.

Would have been a "cross compound" Southworth's Lincoln range would have been a similar style model

Nice little project for someone, the cylinders could quite easily be carved out of a bit of cast iron bar or fabricated from Bronze, couple of cylinder covers from same CI bar and the few remaining bits for the valves, pistons and rods.

It's standard Stephenson's reversing gear just like you find on a Stuart but laid on it's side tephenson_link_motion_(Heat_Engines,_1913).jpg”>link
