Hi chaps Rob and myself have just bought the above surface grinder and I have a question about it, the guy we got it from told us it works fine if you use it manually, it did work fine on auto but he had oil dripping of the end of the bed and eventually ran out of oil (dip stick comes to mind) what I would like to know is, the pipe that returns the oil back to the tank, could this be blocked under the bed if so how do I get to it to find out. Thanks in advance.

Which model is this? I have a 540 and would be able to offer a limited amount of advice for this machine.

Its the 540 Steve but we found out how to check the oil return pipe and it's ok the leak we tracked down as well it was one of the ram seals and it would appear we have repaired it, I may call on you for some advice when we get it powered up as we think we know what everything does but won't be sure until it's running.

Hi Rob here" can you take a photo of the wires at the back of the front switch button please' as we have taken the front panel off and pulled all the wire out of there position. Couloirs are red, black, green, please look at the post in general called (Don't Do This) for the photo. This is Alan's & my machine.
