Buying poly-v belts online is fraught as the price is a fraction of the postage and packing…
Can anyone suggest a supplier in the Birmingham/Burton/Derby area who sells them over the counter?
Neil
Supplier in Birmingham/Burton area
Hi Neil, have you tried these people **LINK** **LINK**
Don't know if they have what you are looking for, but they can supply most types of belts.
Regards Nick.
What size you looking for mate.?
Thanks Nick, easy enough to find and close to my journey to/from work, although a tough area for parking!
John, one at least 18 inches long, or a bit longer, PJ profile. Two ropughly 2" pulleys, about 6" apart.
Thanks,
Hi Neil, these people may also be able to help **LINK** **LINK**
No idea if thier parking is any better.
Neil,
It doesn't answer the question, but:
Given the price of fuel … this looks a good source, via Mail order.
MichaelG.
Found Erik today, but with a £15 minimum order +vat they work out more than mail order.
C'est la vie*…
*Or "cellar vie" as used to be written on the wall of the Belle View Cellar Bar, one of my drinking haunts in the early 80s…
Thanks Michael,
Two belts (well one with 8 ribs) for £12.01 inc vat & postage – result!
