Hi Does anyone have any servicing data on this machine. Like an exploded view of the parts & assembly. Before I start taking it apart.

          Hi Martin

Are you a member if the Tom Senior group on groups.io?

If not, it's definitely worth joining. They'll definitely have all the information you need.

          Hope this helps

          David

If you google Tom Senior S type head there are some Denford exploded diagrams showing most of the head. I used them when I renewed the Timken roller bearings in my S type head.

The spindle bearings in the S head, which is probably the same mechanically are 1" x 2" x 0.591", top and bottom. Code number 07100s/07210x taper roller. The split nut which adjusts the spindle bearings has a left hand thread. The nut is locked by a SHCS reachable through a hole near the top of the quill.
