Hi Chaps, has anyone rebuilt a Elliott M10 shaper, i need to remove the clutch drive shaft and was looking for the best way to go about it as it is bent.

Does anyone have a spare ?

      TIA Mick

          Hello Mick,

If you need drawings to show you how it is fitted, I can help there, but not with a replacement shaft I'm afraid. Send me a PM if that would be helpful

Shafts aren't difficult to straighten, for minor bending at least, using a wooden block and lump hammer with the shaft supported on two lumps of timber. with Vee notches cut into them.

Progress can be readily checked by rolling the shaft round in two vee blocks and then knocking out the high spot accordingly

          Regards

          Brian
