I have a new concrete slab on the workshop floor. It is clean and has been ground . I would like a tough clean(able) finish . Can anyone recommend an epoxy coating ?. I would prefer clear if possible.

I've used the Watco products a few times for work they last well. Something like the following should do

            Toughcoat

Oxan floor oil is the outstanding for concrete floor.

We hav used that since 1980 for our machine shot at school.

Easy to repar and strog. Stands for welding too.

I don't weld but all of my workshops have carpet on the floor. Comfortable to walk on and easy to clean.

rex aviation engine and propeller shop (640x427).jpgJust don't mix too much epoxy at a time, only the amount you can use in the working time, I know I'v been there. If you look in my album you'll see a photo of a aero engine over haul shop, we painted that in one go, mixed the paint, then read the instructions, 20 miniutes pot life, we spread it with 30" brooms, and when finished ended up with a ball of paint in the bucket about the size of a cricket ball, and about as hard, except you could not pick it up, it was too hot to handle, that was about 1966, I haven't been back for many years, but it could be still the same paint there today.
