Win XP wifi with BT

With the house move recently completed I ended up losing my line so the bosses BT wifi and phone number could be transferred

XP can be a bit flaky with these things so I thought I'd share, and record my solution

Won't connect to BT because of IP issue
Use a logged in tablet if you can, go to dosbox, run cmd, run ipconfig
This gives details of a successful login

For me I went here

google
win xp connection-specific DNS suffix

and put the word

home

into the connection-specific DNS suffix box
and it all worked fabby after that, everything else was automatic good luck and happy surfing
