I can't see any joint!
Isn't that piece made up of four lengths of decking, two short with concave rounded ends, and two long with a curved notch taken out of one side?

Maybe it is to hold the bridge up?
Full marks to the designer for imagination!
I always liked this one:
I don't know about "I can't see any joint!"… I don't think I can see the point
The planks are clearly visible to me…

There appears to be a joint line about 1/3 of the way in from the front?
