Hi I've got a Bantam but no accessories (apart fromthe quick change tool holder and one toolholder) so I'm looking to rectify this situation.

As the Bantam was based on the Chipmaster I was wondering apart from the chucks how much is interchangeable acessories wise in particular – Is the stationary steady on the chipmaster same as bantam?

Also I was wondering if there ever was deeper toolholder that would fit on the Bantam quick change tool holder as I've got some 5/8" and 3/4" tool that will not fit?

I had one "original" toolholder with my Dickson toolpost that takes >20mm tools. The Indian (Soba) replacements I bought work fine but only take something like 12-16mm. You need to either buy some more bigger ones or machine down the shanks to fit.

Keep your eyes open on ebay perhaps, unless you don't mind paying top dollar for Bison etc brands. I forget what size category they are for the Bantam.

Yes the bed profile is the same on chippie and bantam ( but not a Bantam mk111 which is the same as a Harrison M250)

              Bantam is 5.625" centre hight.

Chipmaster is 5.75" centre hight despite both being badged as 5"

when I look in respective manauls (mk1 Bantam/chipmaster) it says centre hight 143mm / 5 5/8" so now I'm not sure?
