      Hello All,

I've been using EP90 gear oil as a cutting oil. It seems to work well, if a bit smelly. As an old Land-Rover owner I change the gear and axle oils every year which gives me a supply of about 2 gallons.

      Regards,

      Nigel Toll

          Hi Nigel,

I bought 5L of neat Supercut cutting oil from ebay seller lubetechoil for £20 delivered.

          This link might work… **LINK**

No afiliation but at that price for a lifetime's supply it seems hard to beat.

I have always used NC-110 from Hallett Oils. Had good service from them in the past, however they now seem to have dropped their ME section from their website. May be worth a call though ?

Having run series Land Rover's for over 35 years EP90 runs through my veins. I will give it a try as cutting oil but think the cat pee smell will put me off.

I don't think that Warco will supply by post/carrier, except with a machine. You can buy / collect from their stand at shows.

Would not have thought that EP90 would be a suitable cutting fluid. The Extreme Pressure feature could well prevent the tool forcing its way through the oil film.

Even neat cutting oil will show this at times with a very fine feeds. The tool advances , barely cutting, and then the swarf comes flying of for a short time, before the process repeats itself.
