I have a 95% complete quorn cutter grinder which I am considering selling, see photos.
My tool collection already includes three tool and cutter grinders (Clarkson, K.O. Lee and an Alexander (Deckel copy)), and so I have come to the conclusion that I don’t need another.
As you can see, the grinder requires a workhead manufacturing to enable cutters to be mounted and sharpened. If utilising an ER collet holder for cutter holding (as in the mk iii model), machining a workhead should be relatively straightforward task for the next owner.
The grinder is fitted with the correct parvalux motor which is wired to run in both directions.
Noting that there is further work to do, I am looking for guidance as to how much the grinder may be worth. I know the casting are rather expensive, but I am not looking to much out of the sale.
I look forward to recieve your thoughts and comments.
