Problem with new QCTP

Hi All,
I am a beginner and a happy owner of a mini lathe since three month now.I made myself a gift in the form of a Quick Change tool holder: Tormach 0XA, purchased from an american interntet site.On arrival everythings was fine, except for the two thigs(sorry but I don't know their names) of the photos, that seem bad machined.There is someone that can tell me if this is a serious matter and why there is only one grub screw and not two? What is the use of this screw? (I presume to regulate the height but I'm not sure how).
I asked to the seller but recieved an odd answer:
"I’m not sure why you took the tool post apart. If it works, it works. You can debur the parts if you like.I see nothing wrong. Put it back together and use it."
Not much helpful.
Anyway I appreciate any suggestion about this kind of QCTP,

I don't know this type of QCTP but I think it is what is called the wedge type in which the thready on the handle engages with the teeth to move the wedges down and outwards to hold the tool mount. Because it is a wege action some half witted gorillas will do it up so hard it can't be undone or it bends the toolholder. I think the screw is set as a limit to stop this. As the two parts move simultaneously it only needs one to be used to limit the movement thus saving the cost of one screw. The build quality is consistent with modern chinese production.
