I just got myself a relic of the UK’s industrial past:

Tony doesn’t appear to have a manual for sale on his manuals section.  I’ll give him a bell on Monday on the off-chance, he just hasn’t got it listed.  So I was wondering if anyone on here might have a manual?

Can’t help with the manual I’m afraid but I will just say that’s a much more civilised thing to have in the workshop than the noisy bandsaws we were discussing recently. Ours went a long time ago to a chap to exhibit with his stationary engines but I have not seen it out for some years.

          Hi Adrian,

Not sure if you are referring to the generic 6″ x 4″ bandsaws. My early Alpine badged one is super quiet. I did have a much larger industrial power hacksaw which was much noisier!

          Andrew.

I’ve had one for several years; it works well, better after I made e new “big end” eccentric for the dashpot conrod.
            Never found a manual though.
