I'm a S7 owner but, according to the Ian Bradley manual, on the ML7 there is a key in the bull wheel that is controlled by a cap screw. The cap screw needs to be loosened and the key slid out of engagement with the back gear pinion next to the cone pulley. The cap screw is then tightened to hold the key in place

Edit: Too slow! The Super 7 has a semicircular key rotated by a small lever as per Dave's video.
