Having saved Mike Tilby’s articles to read at one sitting … I would just like to thank him for the excellent short series.

I remember reading Prof. Chaddock’s description of his very clever device, many years ago … and always thought it showed great promise !

Mr. Tilby has re-kindled that interest.

Which Prof Chaddock article is that I cannot find anything (a bit like my workshop) about it , a quick ref would be handy.

Sorry, Bernard … I don’t recall the date of  Chaddock’s original articles [ or even if he was Prof. at the time !] : they were long ago, and probably when ME was in it’s compact format.

I merely remembered, quite vividly, the cleverness of the gadget.

The blade milling apparatus is in Part 1.
