Could anyone help please with the spec. of the standard generator supplied on the Maxitrak Showmans Engine. Also the type of canopy lighting that might be run from it? Diode type bulbs? Wiring size? etc.

This is a 2" GMT so a small engine to start with which won't be a lot bigger than your showmans.

It uses an outrunner motor as used in RC planes as an alternator and thats enough to power the 56 LEDs at 250rpm.

Could you give me the source of the coloured LED`s please. Also wiring size if you would.

The LEDs were clear but painted with Tamiya clear acrylic, the tinted one they do for model car indicators, brake lights etc
