My friends in the North Norfolk Model Engineering Club are having to plan for a new track as they are likely to have to move from their existing site at Holt. I have been asked what the maximum gradient is practical for 3.5" locos for public passenger hauling for example with a Princess Marina?

      Advice would be appreciated

Why are they having to move? Don't they share space with the North Norfolk Railway?

          regards Martin

I can't speak for the club but I believe that they are being given notice by the NNR as the site is required for a turntable.

            Best wishes
