Does anyone know of a uk supplier of 'ball cranked handles' or if that's not the correct name? which is why I'm having trouble finding them?

I'd like some with revolving handles if possible.

            Look at machine suppliers.

Am sure that Arc Euro offer handles like that, but check that they are the size that you want.

Worth a look at WDS they do a range of ball handles plus lots of other useful gear.

              link to their site here:-

Tried balanced handle, didn't seem to bring up much, thanks though.

I had a look at arc euro, they only sell the spinning handle to upgrade your existing handles.

WDS looks like quite an interesting store, bookmarked for future reference, they do sell some 'tri ball levers' but don't have any information on the spec.

I have found somewhere that sells them, but they have the fixed handle, nowhere seems to sell them with rotating handles fitted, i guess I'll just have to order them separately.

                Thanks anyhow

                  Hi Pete

Looks like an interesting project for a model engineer to fabricate your own or modify a bought one to an Enirod Handle.

A highly polished handle operated by normaly oily hands should not be a problem

Eric, you're absolutely right, I'm just so busy, multiple projects on the go, just in the finishing stages of restoring a little 1940's milling machine, got a startrite Mercury drill stripped down and being rebuilt, the new to me Boxford lathe these handles are for about to be stripped down, painted and rebuilt, I just look forward to having all my machines up and running so I can do something else apart from working on them.

I made my own, see my album "Chariot a vis" when I couldn't source any commercial ones, apart from Schaublin ones. Not having deep pockets I had to make them as they are somewhat smaller than the available run of the mill stuff.

                      Quite an entertaining process.

                      Best of luck!!

                      cheers

                      Bill

Another name for the handles is Tri ball crank handles

Nice work Bill, if i had more time it'd make a nice little project.

Adrian, that's the site i actually came across that i was planning on ordering the swivelling handles from.

If anyone stumbles upon this thread looking for similar handles, this is a UK supplier that I'll probably end up ordering from.
