Hi David,

It would be nice to see what you are asking the question about! If it is the single photograph in your album its a H/V rotary table, generally for use on a milling machine.

It’s a rotary table. Usually used with a milling machine to hold a workpiece and turn it by a known angle. So you could machine a curve (arc) or by turning at a regular interval a hexagon. There are a few videos on YouTube.

Obviously as above, but I am wondering if it has three registration surfaces – as it is pictured, the winding handle will be vertical when mounted on end. Seems unusual unless a special?

Seen plenty like that with just the one vertical option including the first one that I had, don't recall the hand wheel getting in the way when sticking up..
