Hobbymat MD65 Lathe

G/day Gentleman ,just a long shot but does any one know what type of collets are used in the hobbymat Collet Chuck My MD65 came with a collet chuck BUT Alass no collets , Just wondering i fanyone knows make or number for the correct collets ??? Regards Paul S

As Nick says, they are DIN 6343 collets, size 125E (or F17).

The parallel portion that locates the collet at the back is 17.5mm dia.

The major diameter at the fat end of the taper is 22mm.

The taper half-angle is 15 degrees.

Overall length is 51mm

Looks like Santool in Germany still sell them in 0.5mm increments from 1-14mm at about Euro 20 each;

Many thanks Gentalman ,now i know the collet type and its No just acase of chasing em down , Many thanks for the drwg ,Nick .I have the chuck and have just made a couple O tommy bars for it ,But still hunting down the actual collets!. Regards & keep Whu-Flu free Paul S
