They are well machined, they can be a little stiff at first though.

A little stiff is not be a problem they should loosen up as they wear in as they operate. Better than being too loose. And you can't complain about the price.

I see that the connector thread is 1/4" 40 tpi, and the steel parts are stainless, TC in the video thought the threads might be metric, and he wasn't sure on the steel type. Nice bit of kit.

Actually stiffness (presumably friction) may stop the governor working properly. At best it will lead to hunting.
