              Cri Dan machines (B and E models ) were made under licence, at the Sentinel works, in the late 50s, to cut screw htreads, rapidly

              The tool made a number of passes, cam controlled..

              The test bpiece was to produce a 1" BSW thread,. about 10" long, It did this in under a minute with the swarf coming off as blue wire!

              It was quite a show for visitors being shown naround the factory.
