Hi, why do I need to do this to see the contact details in Classifieds? thanks, "You need to make a small number of forum posts to see contact details."

Hello Sion, it's for two reasons!

First it's out main line of defence against the people who have tried to scam our advertisers.

Second, the classifieds are intended primarily as a benefit to the regular users of the forum.

You will need to make a couple more posts to gain access.
