Black 5 Rebuild finished at last

not been on for Awile but now Happy with my 5" Black 5. I have now fitted Stainless Super Heater A's did not have one before. I also fitted a 15 mm gas Valve for my Regulator with an 1/2 pipe feeding the Super Heater. I have Also from Super heater fitted 10 mm pipe from super heater to Cylinders that was difficult. It now has loads power before it struggled to pull 7 persons going to see how many it will pull Thursday. It's such a different Loco with the Upgrades. Looking forward to second Run on it.

Sounds like good news and worthwhile modifications to the engine. You'll have be careful with the regulator or you'll be round the first bend before you know it!!

Hi Martin yes before full Regulator struggled now Max 1/4 pulls like a steam train never dreamt it could be so powerful. Well impressed

Thanks Neil been a hard slog but been well worth it. Wondered many times if I would Fail but brilliant now. Ron
