The thread still comes up as number two on page one of Google if you search for '"aceria lathe".

Whilst it may be the dominant topic of discussion, as ever that's a diversion from the actual question was is about the quality of Aciera lathes and even whether or not they actually make/made them.

Amending the title makes sense as people are more likely to look for the right name than the wrong one, even if the typo is a common one.

P.S. I note the auctioneers' sale was of 'General Household and Affects" so I suppose we should be thankful that the name was at least recognisable…

PPS: I also note that it was a mill not a lathe anyway!

I inherited an F1 from my father who bought it from his company that made electron microscopes when GEC closed it down. A beautiful machine though in need of new feed nuts, but too small for general model engineering. With heavy heart I sold it through (IIRC) the modelengineering website and used the proceeds to buy a Myford VMB. Not nearly so nice but very good at chewing metal. I am pretty certain they never made lathes, and Tony's site doesn't show any Aciera lathes.
