      viceroy wiring.jpgI am converting a viceroy lathe from 3 phase to single phase, and not sure how to connect the wires to the motor, my motor is a brook cromptom 4 wire capacitor start capaitor run, I can see from the diagram that A teminal is the neutral, but would this be on the start winding, any help here please

          I forgot to mention, the terminals on my motor are marked Z-Z1 -A-T, not sure what the X,Y and B are in the drawing, and which terminal they go to on the motor

            It looks like X & Y are the start winding, which would go to Z & Z1. 'A' is neutral to the main winding and B is live to the main winding.

                The motor isnt working, its trying to start but just buzzing and then trips the contactor
