Hi everyone, I am several hours into my first proper build and I think I may need some help with the flywheels. I can’t see anyway I can machine the flywheels with the kit I have. The Victoria flywheels are 7” diameter, I have a Warco wm240 lathe and can’t see anyway to get the tool to the maximum diameter (safely/sensibly). I also have a Clarke’s cmd300 milling machine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can use a stiff indexable boring bar mounted upside down in the tool post slot nearest to you or if using a bar that takes HSS toolbits then you can grind one up so the lathe can run the usual way.
