Hi everyone hope all is good

I am currently undertaking a group project on a pipe inspection robot, i have been assigned the task of creating an inspection head that will use a type of inspection method such as Ultrasonic sensing to analyse the defects within the pipe as well as having a camera to allow the user to see the cracks or corrosion that needs fixing, does anyone have any ideas on how i should tackle this?. Ive been trying to get some inspiration from existing pipe inspection robots that use ultrasonic sensors and i have not found much luck, many of the robots i have found have a sensor that goes around the outside of the pipe. I am in need of a system which is small and can be integrated to the 'head' of the pipe inspection robot. if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it!
