Just wondering if anyone converted their Z axis to power feed and if so how they did it?

Not in the sense that you mean, I think …. I have a nut-driver/socket mounted in a power drill that I apply to the crank-handle to make it easier to raise/lower the head.

I have thought about adding a motor though and assumed it could be done fairly easily by mounting the motor on top of the column directly coupled to the leadscrew …. with or without removing the handwheel drive.
