      Reeves 2000 advise me that in these two issues of ME there is an article on building the MINNIE Traction Engine.

      Does anyone have copies of these, and if so could they copy the relevant pages. I would of course be happy to pay for them plus any postage cost.

          Malcolm,

          I think you will find that those numbers refer to volumes rather than individual issues. Making Minnie was a long series and has been re-published as a book, which, although out of print, is readily available on the 2nd hand market – going rate is about £30+.

            Hello Malcolm,

            You might better off buying Scale Model Traction Engine Building Featuring 'Minnie' by Len Mason, based on the articles.

            They mean volumes 135 and 136 (first and second half of 1969), issues 135 and 136 were way back in 1903…

            Try Tee publishing, they trade in old volumes or email, me a wanted ad for ME/MEW.

              Though with whole volumes of ME selling for £2 at the Guildford show it would be worth looking at some of the dealers to get the mags which are basically what is in the book.

               

              There was a book on Homeworkshop a week or so ago at a good price so may have gone.

               

              EDIT also look at the classifieds down the right hand side of the page, some mags there.
