I emailed David a few weeks ago to see if he was OK. There are some family health issues that are taking priority at the moment but he is OK.

David also said that he was not sure how much longer he would keep the site going a she is well past retirement age.

I’m glad to hear that David Carpenter is OK. I had begin to wonder if something had happened.

I do hope that the website can continue to be maintained, hopefully there is someone out there who would take over the site when David eventually decides to call it a day.

I would like to thank him for producing a really interesting and useful website.

It would be sad to see the site finish. It is the only place now where you can have an article published and retain ownership. Very important, to my mind.

I think Mr Carpenter has strong views on this aspect.

All the stuff he puts on his site by me has previously appeared elsewhere so I still have the rights to it.

In fact I don’t think anything in the way of builds he publishes is exclusive to his site, Mostly taken from builds on other forums, which he does ask if he can use.
