Rocking Whale RW-BL1K Miniature Steam Engine Plant with some modifications & running a Blue Thunder Generator & Light
Added a steam condensate catcher, two step hobbed aluminium drive pulley and a brass knob to the Stephenson Linkage handle.

… I was intrigued by the ‘Blue Thunder’ moniker for that little generator 🙂

G’day Michael,

Those threads were blasts from the past!

I have tried to duplicate these, but I have never been successful in finding a similar stepper motor like what Peter used to make these up.

Hopefully someone can jump in with some information.

The motor looks fairly standard, Jim… that’s why I shared the link to your other discussion … the specification was “hidden in plain sight”
