1. Hello
Jim here and a new member ,will be looking for advice and information on de-WINTON QUARRY LOCO. 71/4 .

I currently have a stalled project from my father had , 10yr but never got to finish it.

Welcome to the forum!

Plenty of people wiulling to offer advice but it will help with any enquiry if you can be more specific.

For example, how to set the valves, etc.

Welcome Jim, The De Winton was a simple machine with almost everything on show so the workings can be seen. It’s my idea of a loco and not to costly, it’s a long story but I always wanted a 9F – I can but dream ! There are plenty of people on here who will be able to offer advice, so just ask. Do you have the boiler ? Best wishes Noel.
