Hi all, I have been lurking around, for a while, decided time to join. Born and grew up in Birmingham, spent 10 years on the Isle of Wight, where I served my apprenticeship, as a fitter, turner, spent the last 45 years in Alberta Canada, as a machinist, millwright, also spent a few years doing drafting and design, last 6 years before retirement, I was involved with quality management. so now retired, have a small shop, with a taig lathe and a sherline mill, wanting to get into miniatures, main interests are making miniature firearms, steam, engines and motorcycle engines. jamf
