Hi all,

I restore and make copies of ancient stringed keyboard instruments (16thC. to 18thC). I'm also interested in designing electrical vehicle components as well as in tool and machine design. I have a Dore Westbury MkII mill, a Myford 254 Plus lathe and have recently acquired a Tom Senior light vertical mill.

Regarding MCAD, I've been using Alibre for 12 years (almost 7000 posts on their forum!) I'm happy to help with any questions on that.

Hello Miles and welcome. I don't think that many on here would be able to help with 16/18 C. stringed instruments but any queries about machinery or handtools should bring a flood of answers.

Hi David,

I work on harpsichords, spinets etc. for the National Trust, Royal Collection Trust, museums and private collectors. I live in Greenwich, S.E. London. I'll sort out some pictures for an album.

I'm no musician, but I love the sound of the old instruments.

Could say I played an ancient keyboard, not too long ago I was on Windows 95, and 98 (thats about that).
