Good Afternoon! I have bought a new single phase motor for my Aasbrink. And I have the original drum switch that I want to use, but do anyone have a wire diagram or something similar? I found this on youtube , but I am uncertain since my motor is different connections.
Although your switch looks similar to the one in the video the connections may not be the same. The first step will be to test the way the switch behaves. If there are no markings on the connections mark them with numbers or letters to identify them. Then create a table showing connectivity between the connections in all three positions. (Off, forward, reverse.). When you have done this post the results so can give you a digram of how to connect it,
Just checked and it works the same as the one in the youtube video. I have a diagram, but dont understand it. No U, V or W and what pattern, delta or star and the black and red wire must come from the capacitor? I can wire sockets, lamps and easy things, but struggle on this sort of stuff..
